Today marks a significant milestone for the local community with the official opening of Gidget House at Stockland Point Cook, proudly officiated by the Hon Emma McBride MP. This important event celebrates the expansion of vital perinatal mental health support for expectant, new and hopeful parents. Gidget Foundation Australia, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the emotional wellbeing of families during pregnancy and early parenthood, brings its compassionate, evidence-based care to a growing number of Australians through its Gidget House services.

The opening of this new location represents more than a physical space—it is a commitment to providing accessible, stigma-free support during one of life’s most profound transitions. With specialised counselling, community connection, and a focus on early intervention, Gidget House will offer a safe and welcoming environment for families who may be struggling with the challenges of conception, pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.
